Yesterday, I had the opportunity to perform in a piece choreographed by Jen Delac entitled 'Dear Rosie' at The Cell in midtown Manhattan. I had the opportunity to approach the role of Rose, one of the women who inspired the famous image of Rosie the Riveter. I went on the journey of a woman in a new relationship, that then is torn apart by the news of WWII. She then finds herself as one of the thousands of woman in the industrial workplace riveting for plane parts as a part of the war effort.
The lab was moderated by writer/director Marc Acito, who is the bookwriter of Allegiance and Chasing Rainbows and Christopher Noffke.
